Welcome to the LSU Textile and Costume Museum. The database you are about to examine is the culmination of more than 30 years of collecting. Computerization of the database is still about 25,000 specimens short of completion, with the bulk of these from the 1980s, so keep this in mind when viewing search results. All of this information is available to you free of charge. All we ask of you is that you provide your name, organization, and e-mail address so that we can keep track of who is visiting our collection database.This information is important to us because use-rate of our collections is the best way to prove the value of these collections to history and science.
