This function is useful for locating people whose names have changed and only their prior name is known. The person's prior name can be entered and the LSU Directory will be searched for all those prior names whose spelling is similar. A list will be returned showing the prior name as well as the current name. Depending on the number and nature of a person's name changes, it is possible that a person could be listed more than once.
To search by prior name, enter a last name, a comma, and a partial first name. For example:
Hebert, Mary
Delatour, F
A list will be returned showing all the prior names that were found that are similarly spelled as well as the person's current name. Click on any of the prior names shown to get additional information on that person. |
